Philanthropy has always been an important aspect of the Phi Mu mission. Having the ability to serve and give back is incredible and we take full advantage of this opportunity. Phi Mu Fraternity's national philanthropy is Children's Miracle Network ("CMN"). The Kappa Chi Chapter of Phi Mu supports CMN locally through the Children's Hospital in Birmingham. Each year we do a variety of things for the children in the hospital, as well as organize fundraisers in order to make contributions to the Children's Miracle Network organization. During recruitment, we make crafts to send to the hospital and around holidays we spend time together making cards for the children with special messages inside. Our most recent fundraiser was this past spring. We raised over $200 during our Phi Mu Bake Sale! We plan to continue taking tours of the hospital at least once a year to visit the children and learn more about CMN and Children's Hospital.
CMN - the alliance of premier hospitals for children - is a non profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children's hospitals all over North America. There are 170 CMN hospitals and each year they help millions of children overcome diseases and injuries of every kind.

Phi Mu's Charity Classic Golf Tournament
Phi Mu will be hosting our very 1st Golf Tournament on Saturday, August 22 at Stephen's Golf Course. We have been working extremely hard to gather golfers and sponsors to make this event a huge success. We have already raised over $2,600 with this event, and we will still be adding to that amount throughout the summer! If you would like to make a donation, please contact Adrian Lucas.
