A sister, a family, a friend, a home—these are the things Phi Mu represents at the University of Montevallo. Our sorority based on LOVE, HONOR and TRUTH brings our diverse chapter of girls together and forms friendships that will last a lifetime. A sorority is more than just a name; it is a support system and serves as a great way to get involved on campus. As a whole, the women of Phi Mu are leaders, volunteers, athletes, philanthropists, mentors, artists and scholars. Our chapter resume includes member involvement in: numerous departmental and national honor societies, Orientation Leaders, College Night, Cross Country, Diamond Dolls, Theatre, Lady Falcons Basketball, Order of Omega, Tennis Team, Montevallo Masters, SGA, discipleship groups, Concert Choir, Alabamian Staff, community volunteers as well as the title holders of Miss Tombigbee 2008 and Miss Chilton County 2007. We are most proud of the time, money and support that we give to our national philanthropy Children’s Miracle Network, locally through Children’s Hospital in Birmingham.
Phi Mu has had the number one grades on campus for eight of the past ten semesters and worked hard in the classroom last semester by taking 786 hours cumulatively.
We are looking forward to what the new semester will bring!
